As we close out an amazing year for the My Lovey & Me portrait series, to say that I am excited for 2022 My Lovey & Me events would be an understatement. I need to take a moment, though, to recognize that my excitement and this series owe quite a few thank you’s!! From all the attendees, to all of the hosts over the years ( Poppy Store, Big City Readers, Sprout, Wiggles and Giggles, Layette, The Itsy Bitsy Boutique, Dottie DoLittle, Tutu School), to the organizations we have and will continue to support ( MASK, VOWforGirls, Project Night Night, Filling in the Banks, The North Texas Food Bank) - this passion of mine would not be possible without your collaboration and partnership. I also want to say one special thank you to a favorite client and truly special friend of the studio: Busy Bees, the most classic, stylish children’s clothing line there is (full stop/period/the end). When I first made the decision to take My Lovey & Me to the next level and to expand its reach across the country, I reached out to Busy Bees’ founder, Maryam Barrett, for advice and help. Maryam and Busy Bees came through BIG TIME for me and for the series, and I will forever be grateful for the way in which they’ve helped me nurture and grow this project.
